As fiveteenth chapter of Passaggi, Litografia Bulla is pleased to present Carborundum, a project by Iginio De Luca. During the course of a one year long residence at Litografia Bulla, the artist explored the processes of the lithographic technique by performing the act of graining a stone and recording the sound of this act. This resulted in the publication of a vinyl made in a limited edition of 10 + X copies which case is covered by the same carborundum powder used in the graining process. The vinyl contains Luis do Rosario photo print of De Luca graining process. Photo edition 10 + X copies signed and numbered by the photographer.

Next to the vinyl the edition in maniere noir is a litho-stone engraving made by Iginio De Luca, representing the sound-spectrogram engraved in the vinyl.
